The national conversation surrounding avialtion often get a focused around the capital of Norway. Aviations role in the north is very different than in the south, which is why we would like to invite you to a debate. We would like to discuss the challenges of aviation in a northern perspective. How long will it take aviation to get become “greener”?

Welcome to a debate with four speakers where you can speak your mind.

The event is co-hosted by Nordland Research Institute. Refreshments are available before and during the event.

Can one bridge be enough to make enemies friends and can bridge building between nations have an effect? Meet three experts who approach this subject from alternate perspectives.

New: Tour of the Namsos control tower

Tour of the Namsos control tower and the Radar station available this season. Do not miss out.

Experience the first airport control station to be built according to the short runway network initiative, the initiative that managed to unite a nation with great distances. The tour also goes to the radar station and the garage where vehicles for the airport are displayed.

The tower is our largest museum object and is otherwise closed to the public. Don´t miss out on this unique tour offered until august 11th.

Eevery day 2.30pm-3.00pm

The tour is family friendly and there will be time to take questions during the tour.

TRY SITTING IN ONE OF THE WORLDS MOST INFAMOUS FIGHTER PLANES THIS SUMMER.

This year we are opening up the infamous Starfighter every day so that you can see what sitting in the cockpit is like.

EVERY DAY FROM 1.30PM TO 2PM.

Our host is there to answer questions and will offer some insight into the plane and its uniqueness historically and as an aircraft.

How does it feel to sit inside one of the worlds fastest aircraft?

From the 1th of july we offer free guided tours of the museum hourly every day of the week, to ensure you have a great experience with us.

Our guides will give you a tour of the highlights of the museum and give you back stories that will bring history to life. The tours are free of charge, you only pay the standard entrance fee. At the moment we offer tours in norwgian and english , but we hope to include more languages in the future.
